Molecular distillation is a special liquid-liquid separation equipment. Unlike traditional distillation, it relies on the difference of the average free path of different substances rather than boiling point differences. As the liquid mixture flows along the inner wall of the main evaporator and is heated, light and heavy molecules escape. Light molecules reach the built-in condensate pipe and are discharged, while heavy molecules flow along the wall, achieving high-purity separation.
Working Principle
Materials are transported from the feed tank to the jacketed main evaporator. The evaporator is continuously heated while a built-in scraper evenly spreads the material into a thin flowing liquid film. This allows for instant evaporation: light components vaporize and adsorb onto the condensing coil, while heavy components flow into separate receiving bottles.
